Green Pennant Award 2010 Coggeshall's churchyard has been awarded the prestigious Green Pennant Award - a national award that recognises high quality green spaces in England and Wales that are managed by voluntary and community groups. New Curate for St Peter's The Reverend Rosemary Morton is, subject to the normal legal formalities, to be the new curate in Coggeshall following her recent ordination - she will overlap with Judith Sweetman who is to leave us in September. |

Visitor from the USA Bishop Chilton Knudsen It was good to welcome the assistant Bishop of Haiti (left) pictured with the Archdeacon of Colchester, Judith Sweetman and Fr Philip. Instead of a sermon, the bishop was quizzed by St Peter's Youth on a variety of topics including Haiti and women's minstry. Bishop Chilton is one of a small number of women bishops in the Anglican Communion. |
